The Young Life Leadership Class seeks to grow, equip and sustain a mission community of people who grow together and work together to reach young people across the city of Toronto.
We have just completed our first installment of the Young Life Leadership Class, which focused on the basics of Young Life ministry. For the winter/spring of 2024, we are beginning a new class, which will dig deeper into one of the foundational concepts in the first class: Cultural Intelligence.
Cultural Intelligence (or CQ) is defined as "the ability to work effectively across cultural differences." We in Young Life believe that CQ is essential and foundational in reaching young people anywhere, but especially in a global city like Toronto.
In each class, one per month, we will have a chance to study the scriptures, discuss CQ concepts and how they inform our lives, leadership and ministry, and pray for each other and young people. Class will run from 7-9 pm, and we will offer an optional simple meal beforehand beginning at 6pm.
